Waiting for my Beta Reader . . .

Is there anything more nerve-wracking than waiting for a beta reader?

It’s an invaluable part of the publishing experience, and I would never think of publishing without that second, independent look at the story, but patience definitely isn’t my strong suit.

Sometimes, that is. I can be very patient when my girlfriend is out on a date, and I have learned exquisite patience at the feet of my Mistress (more on her in future stories), but when it comes to situations where there isn’t a woman holding the reins, well . . . that’s where my anxiousness shows.
