CARGO

A Netflix Original Movie Picture In CARGO, the zompoc's reach goes deep into the Australian Outback and into the community of the Aborigine. It makes you think of movies like 28 Days Later and It Stains the Sands Red but Cargo is different. This is no pointless shamble and run movie; it's all about the labor of love. You have to watch this movie, now available on Netflix.  #element-e4644c35-eb80-4b7f-9beb-48aa6226d673 .waddons-blog-image.hideImage { display: none;} Picture Picture Cargo tells the story about a husband and wife, doing their best to be careful and survive the zombie apocalypse. You can tell the plague has been around for a while and the one thing that feels familiar is that once someone's bit, you have a countdown. Conveniently, they have a timer. After a set of unfortunate events, the father, Andy (played by Martin Freeman), must get his daughter someplace safe.  It's difficult because the creatures are everywhere and there's always a person or two who you think would be kind and ends up being one of the monstrous survivors! Picture The movie touches your frigging heart strings! At first, I figured it would be just like all the other zombie movies, but this was very original. The cast is excellent, though you're not quite sure what's happening with the Aborigines. Then once you know, you hope for the best and watch with a sense of... well, I don't think I should say. SPOILERS and all. lol

What I can tell you about Cargo, and it's going to sound crazy but it's a beautifu. The story, to me is strong and the purpose is given almost immediately, allowing you to desperately seek out what Andy's needing. The action isn't intense or nail biting, but you find yourself wanting a happy ending. I think it comfortably sits in the zombie genre, but carries a freshness that surprises enough to say "Cargo is a good movie." Two thumbs up, if you ask me. Take a peek while I move on to the next review. Cheers! Cargo
