This Is a Taco! is an educational story about the lives of squirrels. Well, one squirrel in particular. His name is Taco. He talks about how clean squirrels are and even how their feet are able to change directions as they climb and scurry about in trees. The facts are interesting, but what's adorable about the book is now Taco takes over the explanations- choosing to rework the natural order of things to suit himself. It's funny.
The illustrations are bright, colorful and somewhat interactive. The wording is easy for children to read but not so simple that older children/adults can't enjoy it as well. This book is a blast and I think anyone will love reading This Is a Tac!.
