Draft and Peeky Sneak

So I finished a draft of The Osteomancer's Son (a novel) last week, and then gave it a read-through/tweaking pass, and then sent it off to my agent for feedback, and while I'm waiting for that I'll be starting another … Continue reading →

Valkyrie Oh juicy! I read Norse Code last year and actually found it by Googling 'norse influenced novels'. I have read many novels that hint or freely use names from Norse Mythology but very little is written beyond the Eddas. Thank you for feeding my need for SERIOUSLY told mythology.

I have added some of your other works to my reading list and hope to enjoy them as much as Norse Code. And this new work....I will keep my eye out for your sneaky peeks :) :)

Greg Eekhout Thank you! I'm really happy that Norse Code worked for you!

You might check out Eight Days of Luke by Dianna Wynne Jones. I'm not sure it's in print anymore, but if you can find a copy somewhere, it's a really cool middle-grade novel with lots of neat Norse mythology. It was a big influence on Norse Code, actually.

Valkyrie Thank you, I will look into that. It really is quite satisfying to read Norse Mythology in new ways and not just referenced. Growing up with the tales (and my name of course)options were limited to the imagination, and very little was written. Luckily Tolkien did some great work in this area, but few if any others since beside you :)

Thanks for the heads up!
