Absolute Darkness is Front Page News!
[image error]One is not expecting to see their own face on the front page—above the fold when visiting the store to pickup coffee creamer. When Duke Raulston said he’d put an article in the paper about my recent pre-release book event – I didn’t expect to see this when visited the neighborhood store. Super touched and humbled and yes – I’ll own it: that’s cool!
This week I’ll be writing the content for the blog tour and the pre-release interviews that are coming out. Also the final proof of Rig it Right came in today – so I’ll be eyeballing that. It should be in good shape.
We still have three more weeks before graduation. So it should be a grand month. I am looking forward to the summer!!
Here’s a useful tool you might want to use: http://diybookcovers.com/3Dmockups/

This is a FREE tool that lets you upload the cover of your book and it will create renderings of your book in 3D. It has options to also render it as if on a kindle or as a combination. That makes things very easy. Above is an example. Pretty nifty.
I was having some fun over Mother’s Day (read pic below) and it looks like one person has cracked the secondary puzzle. It’s a three month, muti-layered puzzle. Just for fun. Nothing tooooo difficult. It will ramp up in a couple of weeks and be connected with the book. Right now it is floating out there and I’m gently talking about it. This is what happens when I teach code – I start having fun with binary and pattern matching and such. I mean, if you are going to teach linux – you might as well teach meta data and binary.
