Setup for this snippet: WIP from Heart and Soul. This is a snippet from my new 'rock star romance' that I'm working on. It's in the very early stages.
Last week : Maverick says goodnight with a quick look back to her before he enters his place. Her stomach fluttered as if some kind of winged insects had taken up residence there. A seconds later, he disappeared behind his door.
Not exactly what she was hoping he'd ask.
