Distributing Derby
Hello Folks,
I've just been looking at using Smashwords as well as publishing on Amazon and I was wondering what other writers' experiences were of using the site. Of course there is the benefit of getting your work out in an epub format and making it available through ibooks and Barnes and Noble but I was curious to ask before I upload. There is also the new Google ebook site and also thought about creating an account on there, any reader's experiences of using the site?
It also got me to thinking about getting the UK market to catch up with the US in terms of ebook distribution for the indie author. If you reside in the UK then the first port of call appears to be Amazon but I wondered if there were any other UK based sites similar to Smashwords or whether it was time that one was created! What do other readers and writers think?
Anyway, hope you are all enjoying your writing and reading and having a good week. There's definitely a nip in the air now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are on their way, time for to put the heating on and for a ghost story!
Happy reading and writing,
L.K. Jay
