What a Week!

Hello Folks,

It's been quite a week for me and I've not had a great deal of time to get on Good Reads. I had a job interview on Wednesday and for the type of job I do, it takes a lot of preparation and the interview day itself lasted all day. Never mind though, I was up against tough competition but I won and I was offered the job, which means that I can carry on paying the rent and eating so I can continue with the important job of writing!

It did mean that I was drawn away from writing my new novel for a couple of days and I hate it when I don't get my 1000 words in but never mind, needs must and I was soon back into it again. It is a crime novel/thriller type thing that is set mostly in the East of England where a cop finds himself on the wrong side of the law and has to go on the run...

It'll need a lot more work but I think at 65k I'm definitely on the way to seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Meanwhile, I need to chase my graphic designer for the cover of my full length novel that I'm planning on releasing in November time, all these things that can distract you.
