I Just Realized I Got Absolutely No Easter Candy This Year

I just realized that I got absolutely no Easter candy this year. We don’t really do a whole lot when we aren’t travelling back to see family, where the big celebrations still go on, but we usually pick up SOMETHING. Cadbury eggs, chocolate bunnies, jellybeans, something. This year I didn’t even think about it. Our biggest concern was remembering not to go to our usual breakfast places that Sunday because we knew what Easter traffic would be like there.

It’s not important or anything. I’m not missing it. It just struck me all of a sudden.
