Greetings and welcome back!
We are gonna take a break from The Tap Room a few weeks and visit one of my other new releases. A short story that was included in the Rebel Ink Press CLAW MARK ANTHOLOGY just last week!

Jess has lost a husband but seemingly gained an admirer in her daughter's hot soccer coach....

She'd been struggling to keep from curling up in a corner and whimpering for hours every day in the early weeks. The soccer schedule coerced her out of the house driving Ella and two or three of her teammates the forty minutes out to the Detroit suburbs for practices. In truth, the activity made her realize the sun actually came up, set and rose again, in spite of the fact David no longer slept beside her. The concept of some exotic new coach in charge barely registered as she trudged around the field, ipod plugged into her ears,tears running down her face. 
When she finally looked up and saw what all the fuss was about, he nearly melted her fillings. A six foot-four-inch man/boy soccer playing treat, his skin glowed light brown and his eyes....Jess shook her head at the memory of her first hard look at him.
