Jim “Tuaca Jimmy” Marshall is the kind of guy you work with maybe once in a career, and in many ways once is enough. Still, you miss him when it’s over. I haven’t worked with Marshall in more than a decade, and it’s been my loss, not his.

A few days ago, Jim walked out of the Anchorage Daily News for the last time, another casualty of print journalism’s self-immolation. The likes of him aren’t likely to be seen again.
