I worked hard to make More Deaths Than One typo-free, but there are at least two errors in the published novel.
"I'm Kerry. Kerry Casillas." She eyed the obit-
ary. "How many of those children are yours?
Bob massaged the back of his neck. "None."
And:
"I thought you were in the jungle of your nightmares."
Bob laid a had on top of hers. "I was."
"Then let's get you out of there. Finish the story."

I usually see at least one mistake--semi-literate, me--in every book I read, many times two, sometimes more. I'd say two is about the norm. I know,though, you would like to eliminate them altogether, but you're not Supergirl, after all. It does sort of tip the reader that there is a shadow person telling the tale after all,and this is a bit off-putting at times. If the writing is solid, though, there's no problem.
