Our hinges are on….Scott has recovered from the plague…

And we now have our last doors up. What we have to go is the backsplash and kitchen venting—Scott was so sick we’re a little worried about him trying the vent work on the roof. Wait for warmer weather on that. And he likely has other clients he has to catch up on, too, but we’re fine. Our kitchen is totally functional and we’re getting to work on the other massive project, the garage sale—ie, cleaning out the basement.

Freyja Our kitchen is done. My bathroom isn't. Waiting on the walk-in tub but the shower is done (& pretty!). We're waiting on the outside stuff as well, like the ramp from the driveway to the back door and redoing the patio & catio. The catio door is installed. The wet bar is done. Now it's unpacking and figuring out what goes where as there is a lot of built-in storage. Even the clothes are hung in the closet and put in the dressers. The tentative move-in date is the 13th as that's when cable & internet is being installed. We even have food in the new refrig and the old refrig (in the garage for extra storage - saved us buying a freezer).

Plague? Did Scott catch the influenza that's going on everywhere and killing people? Hope not.

John Concannon Garage sale?

Science says that humans are descended from the apes. Well science is wrong, we're descended from pack rats.

Please post the date of the garage sale.

Freyja We are definitely pack rats. The moving company never moved anyone with so many books. They used a second truck because the books made the first truck overweight. The piano didn't help.

Move-in is changed to the 16th as we changed the internet/cable install date to then - MD appointment on the 13th. We have some soft drinks in the wet bar fridge, but we need to go to BevMo to stock up our wet bar. I think we'll need it.
