I read your "Brutal Tips" post (which I cannot appreciate more) and, as a prospective writer, I have a question. To get exposure, you mention a writer should have something in comic form, saying "the art needn't be perfect." I'm a terrible (read: horrible)

Team up with an artist is the best answer. I know that's not always easy, but that's why they are brutal tips and not super-lovely-squishy tips. ;)  There are so many on Tumblr and Deviantart and elsewhere…I think it's probably easier to do this now than it ever has been in the past. But I suspect it's still difficult.

The point is to be able to show you understand the language of comics.  I've seen people make books with essentially stick figures.  It may work, but even a half-talented artist is a better bet. Good luck!
