It is getting closer. The players are all in the locker room, chattering up a storm and ready to burst onto the literary ice for their big game on February 3. They are all lacing their skates, tugging on their jerseys, and securing their pads into place while anxiously awaiting to make their entrance into the area.

It’s the eve of the National Playoffs. They’ve worked all year for this. This is their lives, their passions. They will give it their all and spare nothing to entertain the crowd that has gathered to see them. They await to entertain and are rewarded by the cheers of their fans. Failure is not an option. If they are knocked down, they will rise.
