The above picture is of my backyard. For most of this winter, my backyard has looked just like this. Cold. Snowy. And beautiful.

A view just like this inspired me to write a cold weather tale not too long ago. Thinking how hard it would be for me to survive outside in frigid temperatures started my fingers flying across the keyboard. Before I knew it, DESIRE IN THE ARCTIC (the stand-alone, action/adventure/romance, sequel to DESIRE IN THE EVERGLADES) was born.

The upside of the cold weather this year is that I’ve been housebound. This has given me a lot of time to write, and to work on my writing career. In fact, I’ve been cramming in all the writing-related activities I can. As soon as the spring comes, my schedule will get much busier with activities for my kids.

I hope the weather stays cold. I thought those crazy words would never come out of my mouth!
