Sarah Koz Though we never met, Ursula K Le Guin was the closest to a mother I ever had. I am so grateful.

Dani (has moved to The StoryGraph & Readng) I finished a re-read of The Left Hand of Darkness on the 22nd, not knowing at that moment that she had passed away. We are so lucky to have her words.

I can barely find words...

We are so lucky to have her words, her Worlds, her characters and stories. I'll treasure them in my heart forever.

Thank you, Ursula Le Guin. You've taught me so much. And still teaching me.

Thank you.

Annie I, too, was shaped and molded by her words. Her books, quite literally, turned me into the lifelong reader I am. Reading shapes my life every single day; reading is who I am .

I will forever be grateful to her. May all those who loved her find peace and strength.

Jeez, that's powerful. I recently reread Gifts: “Stories are what death thinks he puts an end to. He can't understand that they end in him, but they don't end with him.”

Züleyha " En sevdiğiniz yazar?" sorusuna hiç düşünmeden tereddütsüz verdiğim cevaptır Ursula. Oralarda bir yerlerde olduğunu, nefes aldığını, yüreğinin çarptığını bilmek bile iyi geliyordu bana. Öyle üzgün öyle üzgünüm ki şimdi.
Her kitabından sonra başka biri oldum ben. Donattın, güçlendirdin, hayatıma, ruhuma dokundun. Çok şey borçluyum sana.
Şimdi seni ejderhaların kanadında sonsuzluğa uğurlarken tek tesellim seninle aynı çağda yaşamış olmak.
İyi ki vardın, iyi ki yazdın, iyi ki büyüledin bizi. Hayatıma kattığın her şey için sonsuz teşekkürler.

Kat Oh... Ursula. You've left this body. Congratulations :) How you've touched my heart. You never knew it, and you've helped open the door to the great mystery for me. You were the first introduction to stillness of mind in my agnostic hardened youthful days.

"The valley spirit never dies.
Call it the master, the woman.

The master,
the Door of the Woman,
is the root
of earth and heaven.

Forever this endures, forever
And all its uses are easy."
