My New Year’s Wishes and Resolutions

 

 

I will do my best to advance the common good.

I will do my best to express my appreciation and love for friends and family.

I will dedicate my time and energy to promote justice and equity.

I will not rest in my efforts to oppose injustice and inequity.

I will treasure what matters most: loved ones, friends, pets, the arts, humor, knowledge, truth, beauty, honesty, and allies, none of which can be measured by a standardized test.

I will work tirelessly to refute and undermine false measures of human worth.

I will celebrate goodness wherever it is found.

I will engage in political and social activism to restore the America I know and love and to support the election of leaders who are trustworthy, honest, compassionate, intelligent, and wise.

My greatest wish is for a year of peace for the world and joy to all those who read these words.
