Serenity

Elongated neck

stretched out,

feeling whole

finding beauty

in the stillness.

Pursed lips

eyes shut,

dark lashes distract

from the errors

on my face.

Inhale gently,

exhale even gentler,

maintaining poise.

My skin floats

on the silk sheets

like a swan

on calm waters,

gracefully.
