They grew impatient,
eyes locked in a tussle,
both huffing exaspirated breathes.
Clock’s hands gyrate tirelessly
before she murmurs
a word in disarray.
She peaked into his soul
and saw a fragment of her shattered entity
wandering astray in his inapt domain
as if it was never hers.
For he too gathered all her disseminated dreams
filched from her sheenless eyes
to fulfill them as his very own.
