FELIX’S PHOTOS.
Something different.

Today’s blog post features Felix photos, as I asked him to go on a walk and photograph anything he liked.

I originally wanted a single photo that I could use for a ‘catch up’ kind of post, but after seeing his photos, I found them interesting to look at: what caught my attention was the colours and shapes he seems to be drawn to.

Today I’m battling was seems to be the biggest cold sore in history: it appeared yesterday morning, and right now I can barely speak because it is just. so. huge.
I really wanted to take this time, of me being home, to write about something… the problem was that I needed at least a photo to go with this post, which is why – after lunch – I saw Felix preparing the pugs for a walk, and put my camera around his neck, telling him to snap photos of whatever he wanted to. I didn’t request anything specific, which is why I somewhat expected him to simply take a photo of a flower, which would have been enough, but what I received back was (read in Felix’s tone) very nice!

I particularly liked this photo, I think the contrast makes it pretty, but the fact that you see the dirty glass barely lighting up and the sun glaring between the roof details, turns it into a gorgeous picture.

But that wasn’t all I liked: I noticed how he only really photographed highly saturated subjects. This isn’t the result of me boosting the colours: the sky was that blue; the roof was bright green; and this brick wall is hit by a yellow sun, making it look warm.

Anyway, everything is well (except for my massive bottom lip) and yesterday I’ve filmed a new video, which will be up tomorrow!
Quick note about my giveaway: 2 out of the 3 winners still have not claimed their prizes. Please look back at my blog post about it, if you entered, to check if you are the winner and get in contact (if no reply is received, I will need to pick new winners soon).
Who is excited for December?
