Run The Jewels have earned a Grammy nomination for "Best Rap Song" via their collaboration withDangermouse and Big Boi for the Baby Driver soundtrack "Chase Me." The monolithic rap duo also starred in the accompanying music video (check it here), that arrived on the heels of the film's box office topping first week in theatres this past June) The news arrives just ahead of the final five shows of 2017's gargantuan 120+date "Run The World"tour, in which brought the duo brought their incendiary 2017 album Run The Jewels 3 (which toppedBillboard's Rap, R&B/Hip Hop, Independent & Vinyl charts on its release in January)to life in front of audiences across the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and beyond, including cataclysmic performances at veritably every major international music festival (including Primavera, Lollapalooza,Glastonbury, Field Day, Made In America Hopscotch, and so many, many more). The nomination is just another facet of Run The Jewels' ongoing penetration of the mainstream, as their collaboration with DJ Shadow, "Nobody Speak," is currently charting #35 (and climbing) on commercial radio, resulting in the aforementioned five December shows, which are events presented by major radio stations KROQ ,Live 105, Go96.3, and WKQX.
