It seems like such an archaic practice to me!

Now I'm older and more of a daytime person... so getting darker earlier is kind of a bummer. But I don't have a very strong circadian rhythmn--I can wake up and go to sleep at odd hours no matter the time of day.
I've always liked fall, though. Cooler weather (I live in SoCal, so I don't have to worry about things getting TOO cold ever). The extra darkness suits it. And I used to love having the extra hour to sleep when I was in school or working certain hours. So... Fall is nicer, I think.
