I’m writing this book review simply to tell you that I fell head-over-heels in love with this book, and I think you will too. I opened the book, planned to read only the first page, and ended up reading five chapters!! I read No Ordinary Star on my kindle, and I was so shocked when I couldn’t turn any more pages! I knew in that instant that I needed more of this book series, and I needed it immediately.

M.C. has the amazing ability to write complex characters in such a way that the reader gets sucked into their emotions, their stories, their lives. Heck, I got attached to the Clockmaster, and we rarely saw him! Each and every single one of the characters in this book is deep, real, and lovable, and I became fond of all of them. Both Astra and Felix have intricate and individual thought patterns, and I love the learning that each of them experience from being in the other’s company. Both of these characters come from completely different backgrounds, yet they are similar in ways neither of them imagined.

Not to mention the plot, or the setting! Both are incredibly well thought out and intriguing. To read a book set not only in the year 2524, but also in the arctic tundra is a new adventure for me, and it was a blast! I was riveted with every twist and turn of the plot, and we won’t even talk about how many times my jaw dropped…

I absolutely ADORED No Ordinary Star, and I am so so stoked for the next book, No Plain Rebel. And if I loved No Ordinary Star that much, I believe you will too. And if you don’t believe me, kindly read my review again, and notice how much you smiled.
