Devils Dance in the Woods

Devils dance in the woodsBut I camp in the desertWith water.
Monsters strode from the closetBut I dreamed them awayWith books.
Demons stole the foodI showed them my clawsAnd made them cook.
Evil lurked in the lakeWhile I stood on the shoreAverting my eyes.
Love ran awaySo I sent it a love noteIn a bottle.
Happiness drowned in quicksandBut I hid a pieceIn ice-cream.
Lions ate the bones of friendsI write about beforeThose teeth took.
Hell burned in far off placesYet I had glitterAnd stickers.
Robbers took the moneyBut I haveA gold card.
Death torched the fieldsMissing my potOf daisies.
Pestilence bit little childrenI hid mine amongThe bluebonnets.
Hope went extinct from global warmingExcept in my museum. It's air-conditioned.
The sun went supernovaI picked a starWe danced.
All politicians were abducted by aliensI appointed my dogKing of the world.
Music got wiped by an EMPNow my ipod is The world's DJ.(I hope you like Queen.)
