What’s Cooking Wednesday – Sausage and Apple Stuffed Acorn Squash

This recipe came from a grocery store flyer. It’s a perfect dish now that the weather is turning cooler.

Sausage and Apple Stuffed Acorn Squash

Stuffed Acorn Squash
Ingredients:
3 acorn squash
Olive oil
S&P
1 t dried Italian seasoning
t cayenne pepper (to taste)
1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed (**You could use any ground meat or other sausage varieties, depending on your taste. Hubster used fresh brats, which was all the local store had.)
