The Selecter's New Studio Full-Length "Daylight" Out Today!
The Selecter's New Studio Full-Length Daylight Out Now!
On Tour w/ The Beat
The Selecter is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black, alongside a hugely talented band of musicians, and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson. The anarchic passion that fuelled the band’s gigs during the 2-Tone era is still there, except the pair (Pauline & Gaps) are more driven than ever. Their confidence is sky-high and they’re also writing the best songs of their career, which is saying something given the enduring popularity of hits like “Three Minute Hero,” “Missing Words” and “On My Radio.”
The band’s new album Daylight is due out today! All tour dates can be found below, and for all up-to-date information please visit www.theselecter.net!

Ten crisp and confident songs, mostly political in tone... The Selecter deserve credit for refusing to bask in its obvious comforts.

Pauline Black, Two Tone original, keeps ska potent on this bold return... The Selecter's culture-crossing British beauty is worth celebrating.

"Frontline" bounces along enthusiastically, overflowing with brass, as does the urgent tittle track... the joy of hearing Pauline Black's vocals definitely hasn't diminished.
2 Tone’s secret weapon forges on,
under Pauline Black’s charismatic leadership
The Queen of Ska...

With right-wing governments once again ruling Britain and the United States,
The Selecter has returned as well...

...the live show, led by the charismatic rude girl Pauline Black,
still packs a punch after nearly forty years.
The Selecter was and is one of the premier bands in the style known as 2-Tone...
...a dynamic band that sprung from the vaunted 2-Tone era...

...the First Lady of Two-Tone Ska
