You are IMPORTANT always

How important are we, well actually very important indeed.
I am always attempting to explain clearly that the daily stress of life is part of our routine at this stage in our life. The beneficial piece is if we can find it in ourselves to take a simple moment and breathe, take a deep breath and listen to how you exhale. Taste the air that you breathe.
Can you for right now this very moment do that ? Stop what you are doing, sit or stand and take a big deep breath. It will take you less than thirty seconds, taste the air, feel it filling your lungs, listen closely. Perhaps you are taking coffee in a Coffee shop or on a bus, train even. Sitting in traffic or even making dinner. Take that deep breath and listen as you breathe, can you hear the ambience, a distant noise or maybe complete silence. Take a moment and try it, this might just help you realize how important you are.
So how to important are we? Well if we look at our life and our relationships with others around us, our life partners perhaps. Take, A moment and think, this relationship does not work without you. It takes two to make a partnership, even though we can develop some co-dependency with our partners it is important to understand that WE yes YOU are the most important person, without you it just leaves some other person being single.

Take a look at our friendships with people life long friends and true good friends who are always there for you, you feel grateful to have such wonderful friends indeed. Well without you that is a friendship that does not even exist.
So you are of the utmost importance. Yes we know the obvious ones of being a parent perhaps? The kids need you, right now and always every day. Of course this makes you oh so important yet again. Without you they become orphans perhaps.

So many reasons why you are the most IMPORTANT, then breathe and enjoy your day. Take a single moment, we are talking thirty seconds to inhale, listen and smell the freshness. Exhale hear your negativies flood out with your breathe, cleanse again as we inhale and take in the goodness of life.
Focus on nothing, allow the most important person in your life a second or two to switch off. Become one with your immediate surrounding. Take this little exercise as often as you can amid a busy day.
Tell yourself always no matter what the situation. " I am important, I am very important" taking a nice deep, inhale and exhale.

Pause for that special moment, just as good as any treat you can give yourself.
Just to imagine that through, about a three to four minute time out for ourselves once a day or every other day, we can achieve so much and build ourselves stronger each time.

Oh my book, well it is a memoir of some great times and some harsh times. Like any memoir the idea of provoking thoughts or stirring up emotions probably will occur, but don't worry, you can take great comfort in reading my story and not living it.......
