Almost October!!

Wow - here we are, the last few days of September 2017.
In which case I guess this could well be the last post of this particular month.

So what's new?
Well, I was only thinking this morning, while I was working my way through the overnight stuff on Twitter, how great it is to get the 'thumbs up' for my books.
It's always great when it happens, but it's particularly 'meaningful' when it's from a person who lived the ranch 'western style' life around horses, cattle etc.
It's good to know I got my cinch's and stirrups in the right place....
So thanks Chris Davis for your unfailing support on this writing journey of mine.
Getting your 'seal of approval' has been priceless.
I've added a link below to a review of the 4th book which Chris left on his blog - which may be of interest.
Also why not give the guys work a look? He's not a 'one trick pony' like yours truly, and writes across several different genres.
I've read a few of them - and they're always well worth the price of admission. (You might even be fortunate enough to get a few of his for zero money!)

As a follow on to that I've been contacted recently by a western publishing house who'd like to talk to me about my books!
Now, there's a really big WOW!
Even if nothing actually comes of it, after we've had the discussion, it's great to get - and read - that initial contact.
Hopefully it's the starter of great things to come...who knows?
If you don't stay in there pitching you'll never know what might be........

It just remains for me to wish you all a great rest of the week.
Christmas is coming!!
Stay safe.
Cheers..............
