I swear...it happened...and it was frickin' awesome

With it officially being fall, I’m already feeling a little sentimental about summer. But, I have a dilemma. In today’s Instagram-obsessed society, if you didn’t take a picture, it didn’t happen. But, when I’m really having a big time—and there were some BIG times--the last thing I want to do is stop and take a photograph. So, to capture the memories from this last summer, I decided to go old-school…like real old-school…like 30,000 BC cave art old-school. Here is the summer of 2017 in stick figures.  Picture Trucker Hat Coalition played on our dock for the second annual Bluegrass on Bohemian Bay. Ain't nothing like drinking moonshine in the moonlight while the sound of a fiddle clogs across the water. [image error] Some of my favorite wild women showed up for a Ladies at the Lake weekend. We ate, drank, and sang the shit out of some karaoke. Picture What's more badass then snakes on a plane? Broads on a kayak. Paddle....sip mimosa...paddle....sip mimosa...it's a wondwe we got anywhere. [image error] We bought an Infalta-Bull. Final score: Inflata-Bull-10 Lake Cowboys-0. Picture Frank and I busted a move, broke it down, kicked it up, shook our groove thangs, dropped it like it was hot on several docks around Herrington. Many were mortified. [image error] Frank brought me home a spectacular surprise wrapped in orange fur that he “found.” I named the tiny kitten Huckleberry Finn McCool the Wonder Cat. Picture Our favorite way to wind out the weekend is to spend Sunday evenings on the pontoon cruising the lake and listening to Bob Marley with our dogs, Doc Grizzly and Rufus.  All in all, it was one fine summer. Now, I’m ready for one fabulous fall.
