Hundred Waters have just released their long awaited new full length,  Communicating  via longtime label OWSLA. The product of three years of labor (a period that was so fruitful it yielded the additional five song  Currency  EP that dropped this past May), Communicating is a grand and ambitious album whose reserved and masterful executions illustrate the leap in composition, performance, and confidence the band has undergone in the three years since 2014's  The Moon Rang Like a Bell.  The album's eleven tracks display an increased focus on songwriting, while also featuring more boldly experimental production than the band's previous works. The material benefits from a pristine and powerful mix by Rich Costey (Sigur Rós, Death Cab For Cutie, TV On The Radio) and visionary art direction by Brian Roettinger (Beach House, St. Vincent). "From a broad lens," Miglis says, "the album is a breakup. It starts with a need for independence and it ends with an 'all better,' like we did it: we learned, we loved, we separated, and now it's time for the next chapter." FORM just celebrated its fourth year, including performances from such marquee names as Father John Misty, Solange,Future Islands, and Mount Eerie, while still maintaining the intimate and communal atmosphere that has been a hallmark of all Hundred Waters' efforts to date. In addition to digital streaming platforms Communicating is available to preorder now in various physical iterations, including a CD version, a single LP version, and a special "sequined" 2xLP edition that includes the recently issued Currency EP.
