A little Reality

Good morning one and all, there it is right there, REALITY. I am writing this in the morning after getting out of bed. After a horrible nights sleep by the way, thanks for the concern, anyway, you may be reading this in the evening, hence REALITY mine or yours just bites....

It is back to school time now for many parents, getting all the expensive stuff together and not really enjoying it, but it comes along once a year which is quite cool really, in REALITY they are growing up, moving on to the next stage of their little lives, the new school year. Remember all the little worries and fears when heading off for the next year in school and starting back after summer?
Ah sure God love them, their REALITY might be in for some shock as they have to begin working harder and doing stuff that is all new to them. So isn't it fair to say or well, let's just say, fair to think that it is good to think on them for a minute and not feel it is a chore to prep them for school or worry for the expense cause that is a real REALITY that it is indeed expensive to get them ready and send them off to school for another year.
So try not to go about your days right now cursing the expense or the workload involved in getting the books and the clothes and shoes and all that is needed for school.
A PARENTS REALITY is it is a hassle but it has to be done.
A CHILDS REALITY is that here comes another year and all the worries and fears that develop in a child like fashion.

This brings me to the REALITY differences for one and for all, ya see I never want to burden you with any realities that differ from your own but to shed some light that others do exist. Sometimes we can gain a massive appreciation for the smaller daily chores or even just going along with what society has ordered, that being, it is back to school time.
So to mention only to help you gain some tiny gratitude or appreciation for your own blessings that sometimes are not clear, but they do exist.

There are people like me very similar and I am not unique at all in this respect. However there is a REALITY out there that can be shocking.
I do not have my sons to prepare them for school or worry about their college, I wish I had to find a fitting uniform for school, it would bring me great pleasure to stand in line at a book store and carry a half a ton of books a home to get my little guys ready for school. This is just a different kind of REALITY.
I do not write to you this morning for any sympathies or the poor me kind of thing, only to share a little of my REALITY.
I lost inmy two sons to the stupidest excuses of death anyone might even imagine and life sucks for any parent that has lost a child, it is just the REALITY that it is. So sometimes it would be nice to have to worry about them staring a new year in school or do the chores to get them ready, send them off out with their hair done nice and fresh for their first day back after summer holidays.
Just was not meant to be.
So
Good morning, good afternoon or good evening.
Find happiness in your little ones and take great peace and fulfilment that you are doing the back to school thing. You have a very special time on your hands right now.
Not every parent who has lost a child may agree with me, but any time of year that is focused around the children can be a bitch for those who lost theirs.

I wrote a book about my life and a ton of great times and a ton of shitty other ones too, so maybe come check it out and gain that extra drop of appreciation. For your very own REALITY.
It is a simple read and a bit of fun TOO. If you are Irish, give me a shout, we are clanish that way lol. Hit the link, take a read now that you will have a little time back on your hands.
