A Major Change
Today I decided to trash the entire manuscript (50+ pages) I have been working on for the past few months and completely start over and re-write the manuscript as a narrative rather than from the first person point-of-view. (Not the Literal Trash)
I have been reading several other YA series and I have concluded that a story is better read and told in a narrative rather than the first person. The Narrative offers me with more options and more angles to tell my stories rather than locking me down on a single person and their point-of-view.
I have been seriously considering this for sometime and I feel that this decision can only expand the scope and multiple dimensions in my coming novels.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter or if a reader would like to preview the rough manuscript and tell me your thoughts…
