The Joy of Books, Conferences and Research

There is nothing like the fragrance of newly printed books. It becomes even more joyful when they are yours. You want to skip and dance and dance and skip. I think you get the idea. In preparation for Confluence 1017 in Pittsburgh, I have packed Vampire King of New York and the brand new Vampire Princess of New York.

[image error]The conference in Pittsburgh is one of my favorites. It’s a smaller conference so it gives a lot of opportunity for meeting people and chatting in person. If you are there and read Nights of Passion or know me from Facebook, be sure to say so.

I love being on panels. Sheer fun! You learn things and the conversations can be hilarious or insightful. And during this trip I will be doing research. Of course!  I don’t want to reveal my side trips just yet. I will be returning with pictures.

Here is my schedule for those that want to say hi, or have books they want me to sign or want to go to my events. Scifi conferences are rather laid back and it’s not uncommon to stop an author in the hall to chat or buy a book. The conferences list the names of their participants for this reason, so you can meet the people you’d love to talk to.

Friday:
