Surekha’s parents were very happy. Their happiness today knew no limits.
Why were they so happy?
Had she cleared her exam with distinction marks? No.
Had she obtained a six figure salary job? No.
Then why were they so happy?
They were happy because they received a good marriage proposal for her.
A perfect match accordingly to her dad who never met this guy. For him, guy's engineering degree was good enough match for his BA pass daughter.
A perfect match accordingly to her mother who was not aware of guy’s philosophy. For her guy’s good financial status was good enough for the middle-class daughter.
A perfect match accordingly to her younger sister who has no idea of what was marriage all about. For her guy’s good looks were good enough for her average looking sister.
They all were happy, very happy. They knew only one think he was just perfect. Excluding Surekha who considered that the boy she would marry need not be perfect but should be honest.
Moral: I don’t want a perfect partner, I want honest one.
Happy Reading!
