Book Review: Agents of Shadow

Agents of Shadow (The Keepers of White) (Volume 1) by Richard Crofton by Richard Crofton

This is a dark piece of fiction which may not be suitable for all readers. I am putting in my usual warnings ~ violence, torture, vivid murder scenes, human sacrifice, satanic rituals and cannibalism.

The opening scene is disturbing, terrifying and disgusting. Wow! It is also powerful and keeps the pages turning.

This is a gripping tale of a cult - one that could be practicing on any of our doorsteps. That's what makes this story so frightening - it's plausible.

The characters are interesting and well formed. I love how the cult members are from all different professions including a priest (my favourite in the book).

There's a glimmer of hope that a hero is coming in the next book. I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Well written and well done. 5/5
