I'm a husband and father of five, currently living in Florida as a teacher/martial arts instructor. I've been writing stories since I was a kid, but only well into adulthood did I ever have the guts to try actually publishing my work.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking Italian, and I love backpacking in the great outdoors! I'm also a baseball fan (go Phillies!), and am into strategy games, camping, reading, and having adventures with my wife and kids.

In short, writing stories and teaching Martial Arts are my two main passions, and I consider myself very blessed to have the opportunity to pursue both activities!

To the Indie Author: Six Strategies for Improving Your Edits

Okay, fellow indie-authors. Earlier in the week I posted about the importance of getting your book edited. But what if you can’t afford the exorbitant costs of editing, and don’t have the eyes for the task yourself? Should you have to wait for however long it takes to get the extra funds, all the while your manuscript is sitting idle, waiting to be published? If you’re one of the many starving... The Paladin's Redemption by Richard Crofton
"The third installment of The Keepers of White series is a much different read than the first two. It’s centered more on the aftermath of the MC’s derailment of the Dark Year and saving Megan from becoming a human sacrifice! The pace is slower and..." Read more of this review »

Love this book! I'm not much of a romance guy, but I said the same thing the last time I read a novella by Amanda Evans (Finding Forever) and was still highly engaged by her stellar storytelling! Save Her Soul is filled with a building suspense that ...more

I'm not one for the overdone zombie apocalypse stories, but the title itself gave me the idea that this one would have a bit of a unique flavor to it. The story is told in 1st Person POV but switches main characters: moms with different backgrounds. ...more

“Logically, it doesn’t make sense for people to make stories of things that go bump in the night during a full moon.”
He paused for a moment, then added one final comment. “No, Megan… it’s during a new moon that the night is darkest. It’s during a new moon… that the real monsters come out.”
