What matters??

On a quest to discover what life is all about,
What matters the most, there should be no doubt.

Is it the balance in your bank account?
Or the number of friends you have around.

Is it the happiness that make you smile?
Or the tears you've been hiding all this while.

Is it achieving a perfect life?
Or just enjoying a sunset with your wife.

Is it the people who love you at all cost?
Or the people who judge you and make you feel lost.

Is it about loving unconditionally and never losing hope?
Or hanging your expectations on a very thin rope.

Is it the pain from the long lost past?
Or the happy news you just heard last.

But none of that matters if you're not happy within.
For living an unhappy life is THE greatest sin.
