Recovery week. My addiction—vacation. Having time off has had the nasty side-effect of making me want more time off. Yeesh, the part of my brain that wants to actually enjoy summer warmth, and vacation time, has become an insatiable beast! How the heck do I keep feeding the monster I’ve created?

Somehow, I’ve forced my butt into the writing chair and managed to keep things moving. Transforming myself into both prisoner and jailer. Whether or not I get time off for good behavior depends on how much I get done.

Ironically, some writers I know have asked me how I manage to be so productive. (Ha!) I’ll reveal in upcoming blog posts the advice I gave them. Maybe it will help you. Hopefully, it will even help me!
