Pushing Forward

This right here (meme) is the reason I will not lay down for a nap. I woke up with a killer headache and feeling under the weather, so I slept in for an extra hour. Woke up with a SUPER headache!! Yay, me! So I fought through it and have managed to stay up, but really haven’t accomplished much. I planned on writing and barely wrote a sentence. I, honestly, can’t tell you what I’ve done today that was productive…oh wait, I did the dishes. Okay, outside of that, I don’t know what I have done that was productive. Anyone else having this kind of Sunday?
The Captain Energy Drink or God of Coffee will be appearing soon. Stay tuned to see which one shows up. Maybe both? Just kidding. That will just lead to an even bigger headache and me running a marathon. (YUCK!)
[image error] On another note, my sons are playing with Pokemon cards. Too many of you this may not be a big deal; however, let me explain. My 7 year old son (Christopher) has gotten his 12 year old autistic brother (Alexander) to play with him! Alexander isn’t big into games. Getting him to play a game and stay seated for more than two minutes is an accomplishment. Yet, here they are in the middle of the living room dealing out cards, comparing health and comparing Pokemons. Grant it, Christopher sounds like he is cheating and I’m pretty sure Alexander knows this, but Alexander continues to play along. It is super cute & makes me want to cry tears of joy. The passed week they have been playing in the pool together by themselves. They have a few tiffs but nothing major. It is so nice to look out the nook window and see them splashing around & laughing with each other. They have come such a long way. Our family has finally gotten back on track since Alexander’s hospitalization, when he went off the deep end because of his autism and mood disorder. Our home is finally a home. We have laughter in our home. We have fun in our home. Grant it, there are moments of downs, but we always keep in mind the ups. Sorry for the rambling. I just had to share with all of you the happiness that is currently filling my heart! ❤
Happy Reading!
