Nearly 26,000 words into my latest novel project, I’m puting on the brakes and setting the manuscript aside for a while.
The problem isn’t with the story. Certainly, it’s been tougher going than the novel I just published, “Six-Hundred Hours of a Life.” That one I wrote in 24 crazy days (followed by a few months of revising and recasting).
