Are there too many books?

Some people believe that the reason no one can sell any books is because there is too many. Too many to read or market.

I think that's a pile of crap

Katy Well, if everyone bought books like I buy books, the book industry would be seriously flourishing ... but the problem nowadays is that there are other things for all these short-attention-span people to do - watch TV, play video games, surf the 'net - that don't require them to actually use their BRAINS anymore ... so reading has gone out of style, sadly. When my brother had children, I immediately set out to get them hooked on books - buying them books for Xmas and birthdays - and it seems to have worked; all three are serious readers. Each of us needs to do our bit to make sure that the children grow up loving books, and they will pass that on.

And there can NEVER be TOO MANY books ... LOL
