A milestone - 20th published book

If you had asked me back in 2002 when I started seriously writing and submitting to agents and publishers if I thought it was possible for me to publish 20 books for kids and teens, I probably would have thought it was completely impossible.

But nothing's impossible. And tomorrow my 20th published book is officially released by Scholastic.

Welcome to the world #20 -- KEYS TO THE CITY, a book primarily for 8 to 12 YOs, about an adopted girl from China who is a bookworm and goes around New York City trying to unlock her special talents for a school project, resulting in a few mishaps and a whole lot of fun.

Sydney Hatt I love you books that are for older kids. I have to say my favorite book would have to be The Bridge from Me to You. I hope that you write more of them. You are one of the reasons I love you read now.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed my young adult novels and you are loving to read. Such a wonderful thing to hear!

I am continuing to write them, it's just a tough market to sell in these days. We'll see what happens. For now, there are seven YA novels out. Just in case you aren't sure what the titles are, here they are:

I HEART YOU, YOU HAUNT ME
CHASING BROOKLYN
FAR FROM YOU
THE DAY BEFORE
FALLING FOR YOU
THE BRIDGE FROM ME TO YOU
ALL WE HAVE IS NOW

Thanks for letting me know. Happy reading!
Lisa

Stephanie Fitzgerald I bought Keys to the City at the Strand Bookstore in N.Y.C. and loved reading it! It had a New York setting, a bookworm (like me!), and dogs. What could be better?
