Author, Jenny Milchman, was on top of the world when she signed her contract with Ballantine. She been writing for years, had eight unpublished manuscripts under her belt and wondered if her dream would ever become a reality. It did! Within a span of three years, Ballantine, an imprint of Random House, published three of her novels,
Cover of Snow, and then
As Night Falls, and finally
Ruin Falls.
Her story was a writer's dream, three books in three years in print from a top 5 publisher and another on the way. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Ballantine did not renew her contract and declined to publish her fourth novel.
