Preparing for baptism is important to get your heart ready to commit your life to Jesus Christ.

I love Salvador's spiritual songs, especially this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPetlo... as I endeavor more to embrace the baptism into the Lord's death so I can die to myself (Romans 6:3-4; Isaiah 53:11; Luke 19:10; John 17:19; 2Corinthians 4:10; Philippians 3:10) and live unto God daily as I crucify my flesh and let the Holy Spirit arise to follow His heartbeat and flow through me to touch humanity!

This is the essence of water baptism and what it truly is all about, after which you arise from the waters of baptism, wherein you bury the old you (Romans 6) and afterward thereafter live in newness of life with Jesus Christ by the power and leading / direction of His Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14, 16; John 15:26; 16:12-13; 14:26; Acts 5:32).
