Absolutely perfect Wednesday, April 26th -- Facebook wouldn't let me answer all your comments from yesterday. why? No clue? I have contacted minions to pay them a visit, shake them up a bit.
Hey, who's heard of a "swarm?" -- this is where people get together on say Twitter, and the message is "everyone meet at the train station at 2:00" -- of course this used to be for fun. Now, yesterday, in Oakland, 60+ teenagers (youths) swarmed the BART (train) station, jumped the fare turnstiles and robbed and beat lots of riders. Tell me, what is wrong with people? Why weren't these kids in school? Who's heard of "swarming?"
Now today, working on the gallies for The Devil's Triangle in paperback, out in 5 months -- takes lots and lots of time, and you have to be focused to catch those pesky typos and not perfect words that need a change.
Okay, dish me up some titles for the 22nd FBI thriller -- it's set on Lake Massey in Maryland -- bodies in the lake -- I won't tell you any more -- try for a neat one-word title like Insidious or Enigma or Nemesis -- words with a great punch.
Today you're going to concentrate on your legs -- out on the driveway, guys, lunges and squats, and just plain walk around the neighborhood, stopping now and again to chat with friends, enemies, lovers -- take a little rest -- then get back to it, okay? Minions love to lurk near driveways, so they'll be cheering if you're doing what you're supposed to and really pissed off if you don' show up.

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
