Ryan's excerpt - and another contest!

Good grief, I'm going a little blog-happy lately! I promise to give it a rest soon LOL.

So, finally got the excerpt from Ryan's story, "Echoes" up on the website. If you're interested, pop across and check it out. Hope you find it intriguing!

And now - another Book Sweep! I know, I'm also a little contest crazy right now, but I like doing these Book Sweep contests, as you get such a good chance to win free ebooks and a fire kindle! This one is "Heroes in Uniform" - and who doesn't like an alpha male in uniform?! *hands up and waving wildly* So saying...I better put in the proper wording, right? Here goes:

Mona Lewis Love the excerpt and have already preordered "Echoes ". Can't wait till I see it in my kindle. By the way glad to know I'm not the only one who loves Midsommer Murders. Just got through binge watching the first 4 episodes of season 19 on Netflix after watching the other 18 seasons in December. We get the British shows on our public broadcasting station in the United States and they are always a few seasons behind. I love my British mysteries.

Hey Mona

Thanks for pre-ordering Echoes, I just hope you like it - it's a little different to my usual books. But Ryan, well...his story was never going to be light and fluffy! But he's endeared himself to me (as has Marietta and Raymond as some light relief LOL).

Oh yes, I love a lot of the British mysteries, Mum and I watch them whenever we can. Have you watched Lewis? And Inspector Frost? I can't get into Inspector Linley, though, for some weird reason.

Have you read any of the British mysteries? I absolutely love Stuart MacBride's DI Logan McRae series - harsh, bleak, yet with dry humour running thorough it. It's an auto buy for me.

Mona Lewis Yes I watch Lewis and used to watch Morse when it was on. I also like DCI Banks, Father Brown and I love the Dr. Blake mysteries which are set in Australia. I haven't tried the Stuart MacBride books but will now. I am currently reading the Bill the vampire series that you recommended and am on #3. I love him he's so hilariously inept.

Ha! I loved Bill the vampire! So glad you're enjoying it. It was just such a good laugh and the scraps they got into were unbelievable. I also love the banter between everyone. Bill is one of my heroes
