I just got back from a week in Las Vegas--where I attended some conferences and also had to take a exam to be certificated for my work. It was a long and grueling week--but I also had a great time checking out the lights and activities of the Las Vegas strip.
On many of those days I was so exhausted by the end of the day, that I didn't even crack open my laptop or attempt to write.
I looked at it as a nice mental break from writing. I so often become immersed in the stories in my head, and now more recently, the task of learning how to get self published, that I viewed break as a set back.
I now realize taking a break is sometimes healthy and needed to give your mind a chance to relax and come back to the writing refreshed and rejuvenated.
Who takes writing breaks? Would love to hear what you think about regular breaks during the writing process.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful day :)
