Well, I finally did it. My long-time interest in the Anglo-Saxon era finally achieved material form in the publication of "The Turning of the Tide". Of course, there are a lot of Anglo-Saxon novels around, and some by very famous authors, but a fresh angle may always be of interest. So, my angle is the story of Aethelflaed, daughter of Alfred the Great, who became ruler of Mercia in the early tenth century and became very skilled at Viking bashing. It is a long book - 262 thousand words, but the lady deserved a thorough treatment.
So, I await the judgement of the readers of the genre...
