Reflection on the car you bought

The past election season people voted for change. Not sure what change they wanted but surely they wanted a change in their circumstances.

Enter Donald Duck, quack-quack, to deliver, to solve and change your circumstances, for the better. And you responded positively to the used car salesman pitch and brought into the American car he was selling, and the used car salesman became the president.

Politicians by definition are that, used car salesman, looking for their own interest and if you are lucky you may find a few to the contrary; no different than the one true friend that you have in your life, which could be a myth, that you fervently hold on to.

Historically going back as far as 1988, more than 25 years we had two republican and two democratic presidents minus the current one. Whatever your party affiliation the fact is, each time a republican president came to power, things deteriorated financially for the common man and every time a democratic president came in, and you can argue all you want about it but things improved financially for the common man from the immediate past when someone else was in power. The common man had more jobs each time, and history has a habit of repeating itself.

But this time history will repeat brutally and all the signs are out there but you have a choice. It is time to recognize facts irrespective of your party affiliations on what is happening around you and how your basic human values and the values that you thought your country stood for is getting trampled on. How none of this is going to get jobs back or create jobs. The same can be said about the healthcare legislation.

Time to rise up and make a difference in what kind of American car you are going to buy and what kind of used car salesman you are going to buy it from.

You may be willing to give the used car salesman a chance if you can get the car you want, at the price you want it for.
